Road Resurfacing Project
Road Resurfacing Project Notice (updated 7/9/2026)
In preparation for a road resurfacing project scheduled to begin during the last week of July (weather permitting), the Department of Public Works will be conducting preliminary work on several Village streets.
As part of this preparation, DPW crews will be digging small inspection holes to determine whether lead or copper water service lines are present. This work is necessary to comply with current Federal water infrastructure requirements and to ensure accurate records of service line materials.
Based on an engineering evaluation of roadway conditions throughout the Village, the following roads have been selected for resurfacing as part of this phase of the project:
- Derby Street
- Downing Street
- Harvard Street
- Meritoria Drive
- Ogden Avenue
- Robbins Drive
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve our roadway infrastructure.
Additional information regarding the resurfacing schedule will be provided as it becomes available.
